1.1.0

In preparationMore to find, quieter updates

PlayPets 1.1.0 gives friends more to find while digging and keeps update checks out of the way until you choose to install.

Free app, MIT license, No PlayPets account

What changed

  • Meet Daisy, Clover, Pip and Miso through bespoke digging, planting, fishing and discovery reactions in every seasonal outfit. Imported pets continue to use their original animation sheets.
  • Fill a 100-entry album with seasonal flowers, freshwater life, insects, gifts, trees and small keepsakes. The guide gives habitat clues without reducing each discovery to a percentage.
  • Find saplings by digging and keep them in your pocket. Planting uses one sapling from your stock; choose from cherry, maple, pine, oak, birch and willow. Trees keep growing while the app is closed.
  • Collect seventeen keepsakes. Seeds come from digging, so flower seeds and tree saplings share the same exploration loop.
  • Automatic update checks stay quiet: 20 seconds after startup, then every 6 hours, with quiet retries after failures. They reveal an available version without opening Settings or installing it.
  • Settings → App updates brings the result, release notes, download progress, errors and retry together. Choose Install and restart when ready; closing Settings during download lets it continue without starting a second download when reopened.
  • Microsoft Store packages retain their independent package-managed update path.
  • Compact scenery, play and management controls keep the yard visible in both small and large windows.

Read the discovery guide and update instructions for details. Microsoft Store certification and publication remain separate from GitHub publication.
